Simplifying Facebook's News Feed

In a social network like Facebook, the best thing the user interface can do is get out of the way of the things that your friends and connections are sharing.

With this in mind, I:

• ›Audited the existing use of system text used in posts on Facebook's Feed.
• ›Formed a rubric for determining whether any piece of system text copy is redundant or uniquely necessary.
• ›Worked with Engineering and UX Research to run a test to validate the hypothesis.
